You chose to homeschool. We want to come alongside you.
At Prodigy, we have deep respect for homeschooling families. You know your child, you love them most, and you have made a thoughtful decision about their education. The Prodigy Bridge is not here to replace that. It is here to strengthen it.
The Prodigy Bridge is a two-half-days-a-week enrichment program for homeschool students in grades first through 8th. Students come to campus on Tuesday mornings and Thursday afternoons, joining a dedicated group of Bridge students for faith-centered community, hands-on enrichment classes, and project-based learning. They remain classified as homeschool students throughout. Prodigy provides quarterly progress reports suitable for your homeschool records.
Your child is still your homeschool student. We are just part of your team.
Two half days, and a whole lot of learning.
Bridge students are grouped by age into two cohorts. The Cubs are students in grades 1 through 4. The Bears are students in grades 5 through 8.
Both groups are on campus at the same time, Tuesday mornings and Thursday afternoons, so families with students in multiple age groups will never have to coordinate around conflicting schedules.
Tuesday morning (8:00 to 12:00): Students begin by joining all-school worship at Prodigy, then move through three enrichment classes with their cohort before being picked up at noon.
Thursday afternoon (12:00 to 4:00): Students arrive in time for lunch on the hill with the Prodigy community, join in recess, then move through enrichment classes and project-based learning before being picked up at the end of the school day.

Enrichment that complements at-home studies
Every Bridge day is built around hands-on, faith-integrated learning. Classes include:
- Spanish language instruction
- Agriculture and outdoor stewardship on our 32-acre campus
- Music
- Creative arts
- Physical education and active living
- Project-based learning, where students work with Bridge directors on meaningful, multi-week creative projects focused on critical thinking and real-world skills
- Community as a classroom, including occasional field trips and guest speakers from the Cape Girardeau community
The Prodigy difference, two half-days a week
The Prodigy Bridge is built on the same principles that have made Prodigy Leadership Academy distinctive for almost twenty years: small groups, low ratio/high relationship, multi-age classrooms, individualized attention, and faith in Jesus woven into everything.
Your child will not be dropped into a large anonymous program. They will be known by name, prayed for by teachers, and welcomed into a community that takes their growth seriously.
