Just a reminder that school will not be in session on Wednesday and Thursday, November 24th-25th for the Thanksgiving holiday. School will resume on Monday, November 29th.
PTO Breakfast with Santa
Breakfast with Santa is on Saturday, December 4th from 8am-11am at Cape First Church (flyer attached). Each family is expected to volunteer at The Breakfast with Santa.
- 7am-8am: Reese (setup and cooking)
- 8am-9am: Randolph/Brown
- 9am-10am: Hahs
- 10am-11am: McNair
- 11am-12pm: Mayberry (cleanup)
- Grammer and Albertson students are helping with the nativity throughout the event.
It is always a fun time eating pancakes, sipping hot chocolate, enjoying the Manger scene, and getting a picture with Santa!
Dress Code Reminder
As cooler weather comes, please make sure to adhere to our PLA dress code. Coats and outerwear do not need to be Prodigy wear, but sweatshirts and long sleeve items for layers, need to follow the dress code requirements.
Parent/Teacher Conferences
Conferences will be in January and February. At PLA, we always want to strive to keep our lines of communication open. You are always welcome to contact the teacher with any questions or concerns.
PLA Christmas Concert
Students have been working hard preparing for the upcoming Christmas concert which will be held on Tuesday, December 7th beginning at 7:00 pm. at LaCroix Methodist Church 3102 Lexington Ave, Cape Girardeau, MO 63701. Students need to arrive by 6:30 pm.
Christmas Parties
PTO will be graciously sponsoring our classroom Christmas parties on Thursday, December 16th. Parents may be asked to send items, but we are not allowing parents to attend due to limited space. We appreciate your understanding.
Dress for our Current Weather
Please make sure you are sending your child with the appropriate clothing for our current weather (coat, hat, gloves, etc). Also, please make sure you label everything with their name. We will be outside as much as possible enjoying this beautiful campus!
