I can remember when I was a young girl, I always dreamed of becoming a teacher. But in that, there was one thing I knew, and it was that I wanted to help others! However, it wasn’t until I was married and had a child of my own that God revealed to me how He wanted to use my love for learning and teaching.
For the past 14 years, I have been blessed to be able to use my God given gifts and passions in ministry. My husband and I have spent the last 6 years pastoring a church and I have enjoyed building relationships with children and adults of all ages. I believe my experiences in life as a mother and my experiences in ministry as a teacher, youth leader, children’s ministry director and pastor’s wife have fostered a true love for not just the child but the family unit as a whole.
I graduated in May of 2019 from Southeast Missouri State University with a BS in Child Development and an AA in Child Care and Guidance. I am excited to teach at Prodigy for many reasons, but I am especially excited because it is a place where I can continue to grow in all areas of my life, while helping others do the same thing…to live a life pursuing God, loving others, and valuing every opportunity to learn something new.
